Additional Driver:

  • Additional driver fee per transaction is US$ 8.25
  • Spouse as co-driver is free of charge.

 

Age Restrictions:

Minimum and Maximum age restrictions apply as follows: 

  • Minimum age for renters of Car Group A to F is 21 years.
  • Minimum age for renters of Car Group G & above is 25 years.
  • Maximum age is 75 years.

Cash / Deposit Payment:

We accept cash deposit.  Reservations can be made, but customers must qualify with the office upon arrival.  Minimum payment is USD 50.00 plus the cost of rental.  Cash payments are accepted only for the hire of Car Groups A to F.  Cash payments can be made from 8.00am to 5.00pm only.  12 hours advance booking is required when paying in cash.  Cash payments are not accepted on one-way rentals outside city limits.

Debit Card Payment:

Debit cards are only accepted at our Main office in Deira, Dubai.  A valid credit card or original passport is required as security.

Cross-Border Traffic:

Vehicles may be driven to Oman, but the following restrictions apply:

  • 50 % extra on the daily rate for each day the car is in Oman.
  • Each 10-day period of rental will be charged an additional insurance fee of US$ 27.50

One-way trips between Dubai & Sharjah rental locations are permitted at no additional charge.

Accident / Insurance:

  • Theft protection is included in Collision Damage Waiver
  • The traffic laws in the UAE stipulate that any damage caused to the vehicle must be covered by a police report, without which an insurance claim cannot be made.  If the person driving the vehicle does not obtain a police report, CDW becomes invalid and the customer becomes responsible for all costs.
  • Damage Responsibility if CDW is not taken:

Customers will be required to leave a deposit of US$ 544.50  for damage responsibility

  • Damage responsibility if CDW is taken:

Damage responsibility deposit is not required for all Car Groups except Group J, for which deposit is US$ 544.50.  This does not cover damage to the clutch for which an additional charge of US$ 272.00 is payable.

  • Delivery charge within city limits US$14.00.
  • Collection charge within city limits US$14.00.
  • Delivery charge outside city limits US$ 27.50.
  • Collection charge outside city limits US$ 27.50.

Drivers License Information:

United Arab Emirates:

  • Drivers license must be held for a minimum period of 1 year.  Drivers must have a current International license plus their own national license.  National license alone will not be accepted.
  • Licenses of AGCC countries are acceptable if the renter holds an AGCC passport 
  • AGCC countries are as follows:  UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain & Kuwait.
  • Expatriates holding AGCC licenses are accepted provided they hold a residence visa for the country that has issued the license.  AGCC license holders do not require an international license.

Fuel Information:

Cars will have a full tank of fuel at start of rental and should be returned with a full tank, failing which refueling charges will apply.
